Set up Ulifyi Insights for your website

Ulifyi Insights shows statistics about the visitors to your website in the Business dashboard. Ulifyi Insights is included in certain plans. See the plans on the Ulifyi Business page.

Add your website

1. Open the Business dashboard and go to Ulifyi Insights.
2. Select Add website.
3. Enter a Name and your Domain, for example example.com.
4. Choose a Privacy mode (see below).
5. Under Before you continue, read and confirm the statements. They include that you may manage this website and that you'll mention Ulifyi Insights in your website's privacy policy.
6. Select Add website.

Privacy modes

• Cookie-free collects pageviews and basic device and referrer data right away, with no cookies.
• Analytics with consent tracks nothing until your website's own consent banner calls window.ulifyi.grantConsent().

Install the tracking code

After you add the website, you get a short code snippet. Paste it into the <head> of every page you want to track. The same script works for every website; only the site key at the end differs.

It can take a few minutes for the first pageview to appear.

Verify your domain

1. Copy the meta tag shown under Domain verification.
2. Add it to the <head> of your homepage.
3. Select Verify now.

If the tag isn't found yet, make sure it's live on your homepage and try again.

What is collected

Insights collects the page address, referrer, browser and device type, an anonymous session ID per visit and, if present, UTM campaign parameters. The tracking script sets no cookies. It doesn't collect names, email addresses or other personal identifiers.
